Several Radley athletes were in action at the SEAA championships in Bedford earlier this month.
Emma Haley claimed her first regional title in winning the senior women's 800m, finishing just outside her personal best in 2:08.91. In the same race Tara Kafke continued her impressive progress, having moved up from 400m this season. She set two new PBs over the course of the weekend and took the bronze medal in 2:09.42.
In the field events there were two more bronze medals for Victoria Harte and Kathyrn Woodcock in the U20 women's pole vault and senior women's discus respectively, both athletes coming close to their season's bests.
Elsewhere Faith Brew was unlucky not to qualify from the heats of the U20 women's 400m, missing out on the final by just three hundredths of a second and running close to her PB. In the same age group Anabel Pozniak had a tough 800m heat to contend with and unfortunately was also unable to progress.
Well done everyone!
