Three Radley junior athletes took on the best in the country to compete in the England athletics national championship this weekend at Bedford. Ella Lovibond came 7th in a very high quality final of the U17 Hammer with a new Pb of 53.02m. Setting her up well for her UK Schools games next week.
U17 Rachel Burton maintained her continued great form in the 1500 steeplechase by getting a bronze medal. Frustratingly not a pb but a good performance with lots more to come!
Former Radley steeplechaser Hatti Archer is in line to be upgraded to second after an athlete was found guilty of doping in the 2010 European steeplechase.

Radley AC hosted the final SAL fixture of 2017 and finished on a high with another comfortable win over rivals Hillingdon, North Devon and Brighton & Hove.
A great team performance from the small Radley team saw them win a significant number of events and rally to fill gaps for valuable points.
Congratulations to the seven Radley athletes who were selected to represent Oxfordshire at the Under 13 Intercounties meeting at Kingston on 29th July. They made up more than a quarter of the team which was formed from the best athletes in the county. Competing against some of the highest standard athletes in the country they achieved at least 5 personal bests in wet and miserable conditions, as well as a number of other great performances. They all conducted themselves well, and were a credit to the club.
